Working Assets customers can nominate and then vote for MADRE to receive a grant!

If you are a Working Assets customer, you can help MADRE by nominating us to receive funding for non-profit organizations doing exceptional work in the field of Peace & International Freedom. The more nominations MADRE receives, the more likely we are to be placed on the ballot to receive a Working Assets grant.

Vote for MADRE

Vote for MADRE when your receive your ballot from Working Assets with your phone bill, or cast your vote online at www.WorkingAssets.com. Remember to vote by December 31st.

If you don't find MADRE on the ballot, nominate MADRE for funding in the following year. Nominations are due by June 30th of each year.

To nominate MADRE, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Write a letter to Working Assets to nominate MADRE for funding in the following year. Be sure to include the name on your Working Assets account, your member number, and say that you are nominating MADRE for the Peace and International Freedom category.

    Dear Working Assets,

    I am writing to nominate MADRE, an international women's human rights organization, to receive Working Assets funding in 2007. I am nominating MADRE for the Peace and International Freedom category. My name is (YOUR NAME). I have been a Working Assets (LONG DISTANCE/CREDIT CARD/WIRELESS) customer for (NUMBER) years.

    Enclosed you will find all the necessary attachments.

  2. Send the letter to us at MADRE by June 15th. We will forward your nomination letter, along with the required financial statements, to Working Assets.
  3. Finally, don't forget to vote for MADRE when you receive your yearly ballot from Working Assets.
