Karina Copen
Karina Copen has dedicated herself to work for social justice, poverty alleviation, and women’s empowerment. She recently completed two Masters Degrees at Columbia University – one in international development, the other in women’s health. She plans to continue to work for women’s rights and social justice in Latin America and around the world. Prior to graduate school, she spent two years with Common Hope as a social worker in Guatemala and worked with an international education non-profit based in New York City (iEARN-USA). She serves on the Board of the Copen Family Fund and the Foundation for Self-Sufficiency in Central America.
