Selene Biffi
Selene Biffi has always believed in the power of young people worldwide to bring about positive changes in our society, and has worked toward that goal for the last four years. Because of her motivation and passion, she has been able to get hundreds of young people involved in community development projects. She is a recent graduate of Università Bocconi (Italy), and is the founder and executive director of Youth Action for Change, an online global program entirely run for and by youth, whose main aim is to inspire and equip youth worldwide with the knowledge and tools they need to tackle global issues (so far the program has reached hundreds of young people in 86 countries worldwide). She also served with the UN and Amnesty International in the past, and is a current delegate at the International Youth Parliament (IYP). She also contributed to a few published works on youth-related themes and was awarded the “Young Woman of the Year Award” in 2004 by the European Academy of Civil Society for her work.
