MADRE is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization that receives support from individual donors, foundations, and community organizations. Since our founding in 1983, MADRE has delivered over $52 million dollars of grantmaking and in-kind support to our partner organizations. We use the highest possible percentage of our donations to support our programs with women- and girl-led groups in our far-reaching global networks and are always looking for ways to maximize our impact.
MADRE is committed to transparency and is happy to make our financial information available to our supporters.
Our fiscal year (FY) runs from October 1 – September 30.
